Garden State Woman To Honor Outstanding Leaders
at 5th Annual Awards Luncheon
The Garden State Woman Education Foundation Committee has announced honorees for the 5th Annual Awards Luncheon to be held on Friday, March 12, 2010 at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park NJ.
“We have received an outstanding group of nominations; we sincerely appreciate the interest that this event has generated," commented Garden State Woman Founder, Judy Chapman. "The list of nominees grows each year. This is our 5th year of recognizing phenomenal women.“

Criteria for nomination include evidence that the nominee influences her peers and is a role model for other women and girls. In addition to success in her chosen work, she demonstrates a sincere interest in giving back.

The awards luncheon is a fund raiser for the Garden State Woman Education Foundation, specifically directed to the scholarship fund. The fund is designed to provide scholarship aid to inner city girls accepted into a four year New Jersey college or university. At present, the program supports four students from Newark and Paterson attending Rutgers University. In addition to the scholarship program, the foundation presents conferences and events for women about finance, health and networking.
